SMS Group, LLC Is A Full Service Contract Sales And Marketing Firm Serving The Building Products Industry. We Operate In The Following States: North Carolina, South Carolina, West Virginia, Virginia, Maryland, Delaware, Tennessee, Georgia And Alabama.

Our goal is to be the best independent representative group in the Southeastern United States, and we are well on our way. Our Associates are not just salespeople, they are resources for their customers.

With a reputation for really “knowing” our industry, SMS Group Associates are often asked for their advice and opinions about products. Our technical savvy and willingness to help educate our downstream customers is a benefit we offer that most agencies overlook.

Our History

On February 4, 2002, SMS Group, LLC entered into a definitive agreement to purchase the assets of Tom Flowe and Associates.  The transaction closed on March 8, 2002. Tom Flowe and Associates was a 36 year old Manufacturers Representative Agency serving the Southeast United States.

In 2016, Brad Dunn, a former Tom Flowe Associate and a founding partner of SMS Group, LLC became the sole owner of SMS Group, LLC.

Our After Paint Associates live in their respective territories, but travel out of their area as needed to call on corporate accounts.
